Prof. Angela Amoresano is Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”. Responsible of Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry for clinical, environmental, agro-industrial, foods analyses at Department of Chemical Sciences Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II” and Responsible of Metabolomics and Proteomics Laboratory of I.N.B.B consortium.
She is member of the Scientific Board of PhD course in Chemical Sciences at Department of Chemical Sciences Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II” since 2013.
The research activity was involved in biomolecular mass spectrometry since 1993. Prof. Amoresano has acquired considerable experience in one of the most versatile and sensitive analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry. The research activity is mainly devoted to the development of new integrated analytical strategies that combine classical biochemical methodologies with advanced MS and MSn mass spectrometry procedures in the field of proteomics and metabolomics for the quantitative determination and / or identification of target metabolites and proteins, present in traces in complex biological matrices, for rapid multiresidual analyses
The impact and the quality of publications are documented by the Impact factor of journals, number of citations, with an H-index 43 and participation in several national and international conferences. Author of more than 280 publications in international journals (peer review) in the field of protein characterization and in proteomics and metabolomics available online.
