Apotome.2, Zeiss (Right Microscope) 

This microscope allows to acquire fluorescent specimens with widefield technology but obtaining brilliant and high contrast images, thanks to the structured illumination technology that excludes the light coming from the unfocused planes and acquires optical sections. This system allows to carry out the reconstruction in 3D, even for thicker specimens. In addition, this microscope is equipped with a second, high-performance color camera, which guarantees high resolution for images acquired in brightfield. Moreover, the motorized stage permit to automatically acquire the entire sample.

Objectives: 5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 63x.
