Hematopoietic stem cell gene therapy for sickle-cell disease

Fulvio Mavilio, Professor of Molecular Biology at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, will hold a seminar at CEINGE entitled "Hematopoietic stem cell gene therapy  for sickle-cell disease" (starting at 12.00).

Professor Mavilio is a member of the GENE-THERAPY PNRR-SPOKE 1 project. Furthermore, he is Chief Scientific Officer at Orchard Therapeutics (research and clinical development involving hematopoietic stem cell, or HSC, gene therapy).
