Abstract
This seminar introduces cutting-edge technologies developed by Crìa Technologies, a Swiss deep-tech startup redefining cold chain logistics for the biomedical and biotechnology sectors. The presentation focuses on compact, reusable transport systems capable of maintaining stable temperatures between -60°C and -150°C for several days or even weeks thanks to a new form of high-vacuum thermal insulation. By leveraging Ultra-Low Temperature Phase Change Materials (ULT PCM), Crìa has developed the first dry-ice-free ULT small size transport container. Cria solutions offer a sustainable and reusable alternative for the transport of sensitive biological materials. High-impact applications across personalized medicine, cell therapy, clinical research logistics, and the transport of sensitive biological samples will be discussed.
